Milan 2-0 Atalanta: Rossoneri make it four wins in a row
Milan defeated Atalanta 2-0 at San Siro, thanks to Juan Musso’s own goal and a Junior Messias’ late strike to move level on points with second-place Inter.

Milan 2-0 Atalanta – Highlights
The neighbor’s surprising loss to Bolgona earlier on Sunday left it open for Milan to grab the advantage on home soil. And Rossoneri did not let it slip as they pulled a fourth win in a row in all competitions.
Atalanta suffered from Musso’s 25th-minute own goal after Theo Hernandez cannoned a long-range volley that hit the frame before the goalkeeper’s back tap it in.
The lead was doubled quite late, thanks to Messias’ sublime chip that beat Musso. Rafael Leao was also deserved a praise with his through ball that set up for Messias.
The momentum that carries on
Milan has won four games in a row in all competitions without conceding a goal for the first time since February 2018 (3 games in Serie A and 2 in the Europa League).
The momentum should give Rossoneri little hope of retaining the Scudetto.
The King has returned
Since undergoing knee surgery in May 2022, Zlatan Ibrahimovic made his first appearance as coach Pioli subbed the Swedish striker late in the game.
At 41 years and 146 days, Ibrahimovic is now the oldest player to represent Milan in Serie A in the three-points-per-win era (1993-94 season), overtaking Alessandro Costacurta (41 years and 25 days).
Next up for Milan
Milan are back in Serie A action next Saturday with a trip to Fiorentina before traveling to London to take on Tottenham Hotspur in the return leg of Champions League round of 16.
