Daichi Kamada: Who is AC Milan’s Japanese new playmaker?
Daichi Kamada will be the newest signing and also the first one that AC Milan secure, with the Japanese playmaker has also confirmed to leave Eintracht Frankfurt after five seasons.
Per La Gazzetta dello Sport, Rossoneri will soon announce Kamada after the medical is done this week.
No doubt that this will be an absolute bargain as he will arrive on a free transfer when his contract with the Bundesliga side expires.

Came from J-League’s Sagan Tosu, the 5’11” midfielder made his impact almost immediately as he produced an assist in the Japan top flight debut.
Kamada went on to register 11 more in 80 club appearances, scored 16 of his won and caught the attention of Frankfurt.
A move happened in Summer 2017, with his debut was against Freiburg at the beginning of the 2017/18 season.
The Japanese national player struggled to find game time as he had to compete with the ‘magic triangle’ at that time: Sebastien Haller, Luka Jovic and Ante Rebic, who produced 68% of the club’s 60 league goals.

He finished the loan spell on a high note, scoring 16 goals and nine assists in 36 appearances in Belgium.
Kamada was rewarded with the first call-up to the national team and a summer return to Frankfurt.
From that point, the 26-year-old, who has been dubbed as ‘the second Shiji Kagawa’, shined both at club and national level.
He opened his Japan account during the 6-0 thrashing of Mongolia in 2022 World Cup qualifying and topped up his tally assists against Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach, as well as Standard Liege in the Europa League.
Frankfurt’s triumphant of 2011/22 Europa League had Kamada’s huge contributions as he registered five goals in 13 games.
2022/23 season saw him scored seven goals in 13 games before the 2022 FIFA World Cup which saw him and the Samurai Blue stunned Germany 2-1 in the group-stage game.
Kamada will soon sign a 5-year-contract with Frankfurt, and this is the first of many to come for Rossoneri during the Summer transfer window.
