PULISIC ‘DOING WELL’ FOR THE ROSSONERI
Chukwueze admitted that the 25-year-old Pulisic is “scoring many goals” for Milan and that it would be tough to replace him in his position.
The Nigerian footballer vowed to continue to work on his game and be patient for his turn to come at Milan.
“They were not easy as who plates in my position. (Pulisic) is doing well and scoring many goals,” Chukwueze said of the 25-year-old winger.
The coach (Stefano Pioli) can’t put him on the bench, but I continue to work.
CHUKWUEZE TO STAY PATIENT AMID PULISIC STREAK
Chukwueze also played well in Milan’s 3-1 win over Verona on Sunday, but he has to remain patient after moving from Villareal.
“I must continue to work hard because they signed me to score goals. I trust the coach and his plans for me,” the Nigerian footballer said.
“These first few months were not easy, but I’ve continued to work hard. It was important to win and I want to keep scoring to help the team,” he added.
Pulisic scored a goal for the fourth straight match, setting a new career high for goals in a club season.
The American footballer has now topped the 11 he tallied when he was with Chelsea in the 2019-20 season.
