Olivier Giroud scored the only goal to put Milan into Serie A 2022-23 top four, which sealed the club’s spot at the UCL Champions League next season.
This will bring in approximately 50 million euros to sign new players in the summer as Stefano Pioli’s squad, with the potential sales can also bring in more fund for the purchase.
Daichi Kamada considered done
The Italian transfer guru among multiple trusted sources have all but confirmed that Milan have completed the signing of Daichi Kamada as free-agent.
The Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder has reportedly agree to sign for Milan with the contract of 3m euro per season, having refused offers from Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid and even league rivals Napoli.
The Japanese engine has scored 40 goals and provided 32 assists in the last four years with the Bundesliga side. Kamada has also played a crucial role in Frankfurt’s Europa League victory last season and reaching the DFB Pokal final last season
It is impressive that Milan have secured such a big name on a free transfer.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek
After practically sealed Kamada’s signing, Milan’s top target will be Chelsea’s Loftus-Cheek.
Fabrizio Romano revealed that the talks between two clubs have advanced and the deal is very near to be accomplished within days ahead.
The English man is also keen on a move to the Serie A giant while the London side is also look to offload their crowded squad.

The fee for signing Loftus-Cheek is believed to be around 25-30m euro, which is possible for Milan.
Other targets and Rafael Leao’s contract extension status
Free agents are always the best options to strengthen the squad.
Former Rossoneri’s great Stephan El Shaarawy will not be renewing his contract with Roma and is reportedly pushing for a return to Milan.
The sale of Ante Rebic, who is expected to earn around 20m euro at least will be benefiting the extension of Milan’s top striker Rafael Leao, while will give some space for El Shaarawy as Leao’s back-up.
Milan have secured Leao’s fate despite offers from multiple clubs like Barcelona or EPL sides with new deal signed two weeks ago — it will be valid until 2028, €5m net per season plus €2m add-ons and €175m release clause.
Sergej Milinković-Savić, whose contract will expire with Lazio in 2024 and an offer of €25M-€30M might be enough
AC Milan will unveil Marco Sportiello as new signing in June, with the deal completed on free transfer from Atalanta after verbal agreement reached in February.
The second name on AC Milan’s lit of targets is that Marcus Thuram – the son of French legend Lilian Thuram.
The 25-year-old France international will leave Borussia Monchengladbach on a free transfers. AC Milan made contact with Marcus Thuram in January when it seemed he was destined for a top clubs transfer but somehow interest has cooled off.
Marcus is ending another positive season 16 goals and 7 assists in 31 appearances. His high salary demands are a problem for AC Milan’s budget but being available on a free transfer is hugely attractive.
