The game’s highlights

Brahim Diaz was on-form in the game against Monza, so was Origi who had his very first start for the club.

The Spanish scored a stunning goal after 15 minutes to the first half which unlocked the game. It was Diaz’s impressive run that split Monza’s defence and it was too late for any effort to stop him from poking the ball with his left.

Brahim Diaz

Former Liverpool star Origi mad his impact not so long after Diaz’s opener, almost scored a goal after his sublime skill but missed it just wide.

The home fans had to wait a bit more to see the lead was doubled. Four minutes before the first half ended, Diaz received the ball from Origi, struck a right-footed shot in the far post following his great turn against his market, Caldirola. Diaz has become the third Spanish player to score a Sere A brace of AC Milan (Suso and Javi Moreno were the other two in the list).

With two goals, Milan had more comfortable toward the end of the game. Origi eventually scored with an unstoppable rocket into the top right to make it 3-0, it could not be more perfect for the Belgium’s debut goal for Milan.

Ranocchia pulled one back for Monza with his stunning long-range free-kick which stunned San Siro. However, Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao linked to end the game early. The left-back assisted Rafael to hit the back of the net with a sharp shot.
